The Divine Card Shoppe
A Drop Fell...
A drop fell on the apple tree
Another on the roof;
A half a dozen kissed the eaves,
And made the gables laugh.
A few went out to help the brook,
That went to help the sea.
Myself conjectured, Were they pearls,
What necklaces could be!
The dust replaced in hoisted roa
The birds jocoser sung;
The sunshine threw his hat away,
The orchards spangles hung.
The breezes brought dejected
And bathed them in the glee;
The East put out a single flag,
And signed the fete away.
by Emily Dickinson
You are the spirit of the stars
a bright and shining light.
You guide our way through darkness
until the early morning light.
You guide our footsteps along the way;
lest we should fall; or perhaps maybe stray.
When at night our eyes grow dim
and we can't see o're the mountain's rim;
We know you are there; you will always be
giving us light that we might see.
Even on the darkest of night
and we can't see your gracious light,
we know you guide our footsteps home
because we know we're not alone.
You are here, right by our side
just where you belong.
With your love and happiness
making sure we do no wrong.
So do not change-----
stay as you are------
Because you are------

Do you wonder at the
stories of sightings
just by chance?
Praying to see into the
eyes of God's own worshipers,
sharing in the trance.
I say to you what man
is missing
is not up in the sky.
The place where these
creatures congregate
we see each day with our eyes.
They sing, they dance, they glide
with innocence and grace.
I see them everyday
when I take
the time to slow my
harried pace.
Our angels on this earth
are children,
they congregate to play.
The innocence in
their eyes
is our key to God's grace.
I believe these innocent
little ones commune with
Angels on high.
Guiding them and protecting
'til this earth becomes
familiar to their little minds.
So when life seems unbearable
and you pray for a sign.
Go see the little children
and look into Angel eyes.

SLEEPING ANGEL
In your bed at night I watch you sleep in peace
And think how you have changed my life for all eternity
You've given to me as much as I have tried tirelessly to impart to you
A never ending spring of love, hope, patience and fun shared by two
You've come to me in the fall of my years
Yet tranported me to springtime with your tiny fears
Making me remember how simple life can be
To a winged little angle of three
Suddenly I am the focus of your needs and desires
Making me stand taller to the task and never tire
So sleep my little angle, I'm here for you always
You have given me the gift of springtime and sunny path ways.

Free as an
Angel
Now that I have gone
to the other side,
and I feel the warmth of peace inside,
it's just the way
Jesus said it would be
For heaven lays before me,
but my loved ones
they cry for me
I'm in heaven now can't they see?
So now you've got to let me go
I know you love me so
but now I'm free so free
I'm like an angel
And one day you'll come and see
and then you'll be like me
and we'll be free so free,
just like the angels
To all the ones
I've left below,
I will always love you so
Don't cry for me,
Dry you're eyes
Because soon we'll be together again
Yes we'll all be free so free,
just like the angels

Happy Wings
Screen door swings
with a rustle of confusion
Small footsteps echo
while things crash around the intrusion
Ever wonder why a child
never enters a room
without a stumble
It's those pesky wings
that causes the hubbub and rumble
Like a puppy stumbling
over their own ears
Our little Angels
take no notice of their heavenly gear
Watch them running at play,
their eyes ever skyward
Their little arms out,
running to a voice only by them heard
Running into my arms
I feel the whisper
of happy wings on my cheek
I look into the eyes
of my little angel and think
there's no greater blessing indeed

Dancing through the shadowed trees of
spring
All around nature is shouting out to sing
Voices raised in praise of your budding love
In our path the suns rays shine down from above
Dodging around the base of a giant fir tree
Around the moss covered rocks we fall to our knees
Drowning in the mist shining in our eyes
Among the daisies stretching towards the skies
Making love under the evergreen canopy
Birds flutter past as you sing softly to me
Alluring mountains standing tall surround us
Infusing the perfect scene with love I blush
Let us dance and sing among the blades of grass
Enjoying our lives as every day does pass
You are my life's spring from which I fill my glass
Denise M. Gudge
Thank you
my friend
you listened when I was blue
you held my hand when I was sad
you helped me sort out what was true
and told me it won't always be bad
Thank you my friend
for all the happiness we shared
for the times you made me smile
for showing me you cared
and said you liked my style
Thank you my friend
I am glad we share our time
I cherish your caring ways
I thank god you're a friend
and hope that's the way it stays

We meet on-line to have
a great time...
We laugh and we giggle and smile at our screens.
We sit back and wonder what this all means.
We surf the Web, we travel afar,
We span thousands of mile without a car.
We watch conversations flowing on the screen.
We tell jokes and stories and know what they mean.
What are we looking for? Where's the attraction?
How can we do this and get satisfaction?
Who are we? Why are we here?
We are "The Circle of Friends", made from a chain.
And we're here because friendship is what we gain!
Born on-line formed by few.
We had no idea just what to do.
So we link our pages, first one then two.
And wonder where we'll end up when we're through?
The circle will spread like a wild vine.
It will breathe and whisper like the winds of time.
We are the "Circle of Friends", made from a chain.
All of our motives are exactly the same.
Searching for friendships all over the lands.
Linking our pages is like holding hands.
We are "The Circle of Friends" made from a chain.
A chain without an end!!!

FRIENDSHIP
IS A TREASURE
A friend is someone we turn to,
When our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure,
For our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives,
With beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the world we live in,
A better and happier place.

You swept into my life like
a full blown hurricane
knocking me to my knees
and then breathing new life into me
Your warmth and nurturing
has allowed me to grow
your strength has bred
new strength into me
The distance that once
kept us apart
is no more
you are now more than just
a keystroke away
I used to lay awake wondering
what it would feel like
being in your arms
and now
Your imaginary arms
have become reality
My dreams have become your dreams
as has your dreams become mine
your future is now my future
as we walk along the shore of
life taking in the sweet Somerset

I Want To
Know.......
I want to know, when the day is done.
That life has been worth living.
That I have brought somebody joy
Through kindness and unselfish living.
I want to feel, when the evening falls
and shadows quickly lengthen
That I have made somebody smile.
I want to know that come what may.
I've lifted someones sadness
I want to feel at eventide,
that someones cares were lighter.
Because of kindness I have done,
may someones life be brighter.

Happy Birthday
Your strength and firm direction
Helped me hold on
when the going got rough,
I'm so lucky to have you as my Father
And I just can't thank you enough!
Happy Birthday!
You were always there when I needed you,
You always showed you cared
And though I might not always show it,
My love for you is always there!

You have a place to call your own!

Get Better Soon
Just a few good words to say
That best wishes
and warmest thoughts
are with you this day.
May yours be a Speedy Recovery!
Sometimes when all alone
Sick in bed felling blue,
It's easy to gorget
you have friends like me
Who care so very much for you!
Please get well soon!
It does me in
to know you're down!
I'll be so glad
when you're up and around!
Bet well soon!
I wish I could visit
And sit with you a spell.
I sure hope and pray
That you'll soon be feeling well!
It's nice to send Good Wishes
And this is especially true
When the one to whom they're sent
Is as especially nice as you!
Get well soon!
Remembrance
Although, at such a time as this,
There's little one can do,
I hope it helps in some small way
To know I think of you
It's difficult to find the words
That say just what I feel;
And yet I hope that somehow
This message will reveal
How much my thoughts are with you
As you face the days ahead;
And love will be the echo of
The words I've left unsaid.
A FRIEND
I walked alone, no where to go
Then I met you, a friend, I know.
I made you smile, it warmed my soul
You made me laugh, and I felt whole.
I could begin to believe again
I'd never go back where I had been.
You gave to me this great gift ~
Your friendship...makes my spirit lift.

A Birthday Wish
There are no words to express
the joy you give to me
So I wish you the same joy
more joy than there ever could be.
If I could show you
all the care you've shown.
You'd smile at your good deed
when seeing how much I've grown.
Your always there to make me smile
or hold me when I cry.
So on your birthday
I wish you more happiness than money could ever buy.
The special way I feel about you
I'll never be able to express.
But on your special birthday
I wish you lots of happiness.
Your friendship is treasured
I just though you should know
I wish you the happiest birthday
just because I said so.

Eternal Love
Drop by Drop
Is the only way to fill the cup of Eternal Love.
With patience and prayer
Star-kissed lovers must watch
for a sign from above.
If their love is carelessly poured in a hurry,
it will splash and evaporate.
So they must be mindfully gentle
with each drop, trusting in fate.
Henceforth -
Instead of growing weary with impatience,
they will be filled with a peace so sublime.
For -
The wings of angels uphold those
who take their time...

Friends
A warm sunny day is like a friend
Most welcomed after winter, easy to comprehend
Its warmth and glow give life and peace
Like a hand on the shoulder in time of grief.
Something so familiar is not forgot
As loving friends -- compatriots
Being away does not diminish the glow
It is in the remembrance that we know.
Familiarity does not breed contempt
It allows us to be comfortable -- content
The sunny day may disappear
But the promise of its return is sincere.
So, enjoy the friendship, enjoy the day
Bask in its warmth and wonderful ray
Tomorrow may be winter and you alone
With the exceptions of wonderful memories your cornerstone.

FRIENDS
Friends stand by each other
Friends help each other
Friends are there for the
good times and the bad
No matter what, friends will
Always be there.

A gentle melody plays tonight,
as more gentle still, angels traverse
the sky, the stars, the moon, the seas,
singing prayers for your heart's tranquility.
A gentle breeze blows tonight,
as these gentle angels hover above
your blessed being, your dreams, your mind,
and whisper sweet rythmes so divine.
A gentle hand reaches out tonight,
to heal those silent pains that linger
in the hidden recesses of your heart,
freed at last, allowing for a new start.

A Gift Of Love
My gift to you is my love
Given from deep within my heart
It is the best I have to offer
And its yours until this earth we depart
You have captured a part of me
A part so very fragile that I am in fear
For it is my heart I have lost
To you my love, the one I hold most dear
I chose to love you now
With all that I have and all that I am
And I pray that God follows us
To guide our steps as we cross this land
For it is with His blessings
We will live most at peace with each other
For He is the reason after all
We found one another ........ I Love You!

Half of Me
I feel so safe and calm
When I gaze into your eyes,
So filled with tenderness and honesty.
And it fills my heart with rapture
The emotion, unrestrained.
I so love the way you look at me,
When I tell you that I Love You.
You are...
My every thought
My every want
My every need.
You make me whole
You are the half of my soul
That completes me.
The half of myself
That helps me to exist.

A Mother's Love
Mothers Are Special
Mothers Are Dear
Without Their Love
We Wouldnt Be Here
Mothers Make Hurts Go Away
No Matter What You Have Done
Their Love Is Here To Stay
Mothers Comfort You In Times Of Need
They Are Always There For You
Even When There Seems To Be No Need
Mothers Will Scorn You When Your Bad
They May be Upset Or Even Mad
But You See,They Still Love You When Your Sad
If Your Blue And Things Seem Untrue
Or When Things Are Going Great
Just Keep In Mind, Mothers Are Easy To Talk To
We Acknowledge Mothers In May
However If You Stop To Think
We Should Acknowledge Them Everyday

Mythical
Creatures
Fantasy, majesty not so far apart
Sublime the distinction without time
Knowledge disappears in fog of delusion
Wondrous visions of mythical illusions.
Dragons, fairies, trolls and unicorns
Part of our past and reborn to the future
They dance in our heads when stars are born
Yet when awake we believe in them.
Each creature speaks to our being
Of truths forgotten but now remembered
Yet each one speaks of truth to learn
And in truth is love understood.
Dragons show us power in their flight
Fairies remind us of a gentler day
Trolls show us what the darkness hides
But Unicorns exist to demonstrate love.

A Single Flower
What is held in a single flower,
The reddest rose,
Is love, and peace, and eternity;
What a single flower can show,
A dozen can show no more, only hide.
What is held in a single flower,
Again a rose,
Is innocence, and courage, and devotion;
What a single flower can do,
A dozen can do no more, but undo.
The beauty of a single flower,
The grace unmeaning;
The gesture of a single flower,
The unspoken meaning.
Steve Boyko
Always
Through good times and laughter,
Trial and tears,
You've always been there,
Down through the years.
We've shared our misfortune,
Our hopes and our dreams,
Together we've been through,
A lot it seems.
You've been a good mate,
As well as a friend,
And if our time together,
On earth should now end.
Please have no regrets,
Remember our love,
Was destined by God,
Ordained from above.
I'll always love you,
Regardless of time,
I'll always be yours,
You'll always be mine.

Angel Kisses
by Margaret Temple
Angel kisses on your cheek,
As you close your eyes in sleep.
Peaceful rest til morning sun,
And your day has just begun
Yet, I will not depart from you,
I'll watch over all you do.
If you need me throughout the day,
I'm just a tiny whisper away.
I Just Love To Dance
by Margaret Temple
Come dance with me, Move your feet,
Let your body go, Feel the beat.
Holding me close, Two become one,
Like making love, It's so much fun.
Let the music play, We're lovin' every song,
We'll dance every dance, Til the night is gone.
Of all the things, In the world to do,
I just love to dance, And to be with You!
Kiss Me
by Margaret Temple
You kiss me once,
I kiss you twice,
Our lips are locked,
It feels so nice.
It takes my breath,
I cannot speak,
My heart beats fast,
It skips a beat.
You do not speak,
I do not hear,
And yet your words,
Are oh so clear.
Each heartbeat,
Tells the story true,
You love me,
And I love you.
I am yours,
And you are mine,
Today and til,
The end of time.
Lady in the mirror
by Margaret Temple
Who is that lady,
That woman I see,
As I look in the mirror,
She's staring at me.
She seems so familiar,
Someone I should know,
Perhaps, someone, somewhere,
I knew long ago.
The blue of her eyes,
The smile on her face,
The tilt of her head,
I've seen that someplace.
Yes, now I know,
Of course I can see,
When I look at myself,
It's my mother I see.
LITTLE BABY
By Margaret Temple
Little baby, soft and sweet,
Dimpled chin and little feet,
Little miracle that you are,
You have made my life complete.
I will watch you as you grow,
Seeds of goodness , I will sow,
I will wish the best for you,
But one day, I must let you go.
You will grow, become a man,
Be the very best you can,
I will be here if I’m needed,
Just reach out and take my hand.
One day I will call for you,
When my life on earth is through,
Hold my hand and be there with me,
Remember all I've tried to do.
Perhaps a father you will be,
And a baby soft and sweet,
Will come to you one fine day,
With dimpled chin and little feet,
And will make your life complete.
LOVE ME
by Margaret Temple
Love me in the Springtime, when all is green and new,
Love me in the Summer, when the sky is oh so blue,
Love me in the Autumn, when the leaves are turning brown,
Love me in the Winter, when the snow is falling down.
Love me when I'm happy, and even when I'm sad,
Love me when I'm good, or when I'm oh so bad,
Love me when I'm pretty, or if my face is plain,
Love me when I'm feeling good, or when I'm feeling pain.
Love me always darlin', in the rain or shining sun,
Love me always darlin', after all is said and done,
Love me always darlin' until all our life is through,
Love me always darlin', for I'll be lovin' you!
Mary Cried
by Margaret Temple
A little baby child was born,
She felt such joy inside.
She looked upon his sweet, sweet face,
And Mary cried.
She watched the little boy grow strong,
As everything he tried,
Such love she felt as she watched him play,
And Mary cried.
He grew to be a special man,
So many he would guide,
God had a plan for him she knew,
And Mary cried.
How could she bear to let him go,
Her feelings she must hide.
No turning back, the time was soon.
And Mary cried.
There he was upon the cross,
She could not close her eyes,
One last time she looked at him,
And Mary cried.
To the tomb she ran to see,
She sat there for a while.
His body gone, he had gone home.
And Mary smiled.
My Dance Partner
by Margaret Temple
When we're dancing,
And you hold me close,
That's when I feel,
Your love the most.
You close your eyes,
I sing to you,
The room is full,
But it's just us two.
As the music plays on,
There's nothing as sweet,
As the touch of your face,
Caressing my cheek.
Our life is a dance,
And onward it goes,
Sometimes it's fast,
Sometimes it's slow,
As time spins on by,
And our days become few,
I hope that I'll have,
My last dance with you.
The Pain Within
by Margaret Temple
Someone you love has gone away,
There's very little I can say,
To remove the sadness that you feel,
But, somehow, time will help you heal.
The pain that pierces through your heart,
Will ease, and you'll begin to start,
To somehow live your life again,
Though memories will remain within.
A stronger person now you'll be,
When others look at you, they'll see,
Someone who's different than before,
Because you've experienced so much more.
If in love or death, you've lost someone,
From the pain, try not to run.
Give your heart time to mend,
Soon you'll begin to live again.
Two
by Margaret Temple
Two eyes meet with anothers,
And say "I love you" silently,
No one knows their secret message,
Though it's very plain to see.
Two lips which speak so softly,
Love words in the shades of night,
Then they kiss, two lips waiting ,
Tenderly, with much delight.
Two arms holding each other closely,
Wanting never to let go,
Secure and safe, their love surrounds them,
Two sweethearts, saying, I love you so.
Two bodies meet and press together,
Two hearts beat out of control,
Passion fills the space between them,
Two become one, and they are whole.
