Antique Lace Tile Tutorial

For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download a trial version.
Simple's Filter ~ download here.
Fun House (Quantum Tile) Filter ~ download here.

Open a new image:
200 x 200 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors

Set your colors to white and black.

Set your background Styles box to null and the foreground Styles box to gradient with these settings:
#1 Foreground-Background
Linear
Angle 45
Repeats 0
Invert UNchecked

Flood fill your graphic with the gradient.

Effects > Noise > Add > 100%, Uniform > ok.

Colors > Grey Scale.

Colors > Increase Color Depth > 16 Million Colors.

Effects > Enhance Photo > Manual Color Correction > these settings:
Options both UNchecked
Color category Fruits
Preset colors CoconutFl

*Note - to select your tile to be colored...  in the left display window, place your cursor in the top left corner of the window.  Click and drag down to the bottom right corner of the window.  When you let off of the mouse button the marching ants will be going around the tile.  Click the ok button once you have the settings you want.

Effects > Plug-in Filters > Fun House > Quantum Tile > these settings:
Uncertainty 17
Tiles 2

Effects > Plug-in Filters > Simple > Pizza Slice Mirror.

Effects > Plug-in Filters > Simple > Quick Tile > Apply.

All done!

Try changing the Tile number in the Quantum Tile filter and changing the choice of color in the Manual Color Correction.
