Add a new layer.

Select your draw tool and set at Single line, line width 1, antialias checked.

Set your foreground color to the darker brown and the background to null.

We are going to draw an upside down Y on the side of the bag.

If your lines go outside of the side that is ok, we will clean them up in a minute.

Effects > 3D Effects > Drop shadow > these settings:
Vertical -1
Horizontal 1
Opacity 50
Blur 2.5
Color black

Activate the side layer.

Selections > Select all.

Selections > Float.

Selections > Defloat.

Activate the seam layer.

Selections > Invert.

Hit your delete key once.

Selections > Select none.

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

Add a new layer.

Select your tube tool and set at:
Rope
Scale 50
Step 1

Draw your handle looping upwards.

Using your selection tool set at rectangle, feather 0 and antialias UNchecked, draw around half of your handle.

Selections > Promote to layer.

Activate your original handle layer and hit your delete key.

Selections > Select none.
