For
this tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download a
trial version.
PSP line style "Ball - Fleur de Lis Dashed" ~ download
here.
(Unzip into your PSP Styled Lines folder.)
Brown Wood Tile ~ download here.
(Unzip and open in PSP.)
Open a new image:
400 x 400 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors
Add a new layer and name
it upright.
Set your foreground Styles box to #805947
(brown).
Set your background Styles box to brownwood.jpg,
scale 50% and angle 0..
To do this click on the small
arrow in the Styles box and choose the pattern option.

Now click on the Styles box and
click on the arrow bar next to the preview window. Find the brownwood.jpg.
Set the scale to 50% and the angle to 0.

Select your shapes
tool and set at rectangle, line width 1, basic line style and antialias checked.

Draw a rectangle that is about 35
x 375 pixels in size on the left side of your image.

and duplicate.
