EZ Country Block

was created and put on this site on April 12, 2003. For this tutorial
you will need:
Open a new image: Set your foreground to null and background to a light color, I am using #DCEADC. Set your shapes You may want to zoom in once or twice for this step. Place your cursor at 0,0 and draw to 25,25.
Right click on this layer and duplicate. Image > Flip. Image > Mirror. Add a new raster layer. Change the background color to a medium shade of the same color as before, I am using #9CC49C. Using the shapes Right click on this layer and duplicate. Image > Flip. Image > Mirror.
Selections > Select all. Selections > Float. Effects > 3D Effects
> Cutout > these settings: Selections > Select none. Effects > Noise > Add > 4% uniform > ok. Activate the next layer down and repeat the Select/Float/Cutout/Select none/Noise sequence. Activate the third layer down and repeat the Select/Float/Cutout/Select none/Noise sequence. Activate the bottom layer and repeat the Select/Float/Cutout/Select none/Noise sequence. After applying the Cutout & Noise to each layer, right click on one of the layers and Merge > Merge visible. Effects > Geometric effects > Twirl > 25 degrees > ok. There you have your basic Country Block Tile! Enjoy!
