Add a new layer.
Selections > Load from disk... > tulip2.sel
Select your fill 
tool. Left click once in the selection.
Selections > Modify > Contract > 2 > ok.
Right click in the selection to fill with the gradient.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout > same settings.
Selections > Select none.

Select your fill
tool. Left click once in the selection.
Selections > Modify > Contract > 2 > ok.
Right click in the selection to fill with the gradient.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout > same settings except change the Horizontal to -4.
Selections > Select none.

Select your fill
tool. Left click once in the selection.
Selections > Modify > Contract > 2 > ok.
Right click in the selection to fill with the gradient.
Selections > Select all.
Selections > Float.
Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout > same settings except change the Horizontal back to 4.
Selections > Select none.
