Add a new layer.

Select your paint brush tool and set at:
Round
Size 4
Hardness 100
Opacity 70
Step 1
Density 100

Set your foreground color to #FFD265 and your background to null.

Dot a bunch of spots in the center of your flower.

Effects > 3D Effects > Drop shadow > these settings:
Vertical & Horizontal 1
Opacity 45
Blur 1.2
Color same

Layers > Merge > Merge visible.

All done.  Add your favorite leaves and save with a background of choice as a .gif or .jpg.

Pssst..... try setting your gradient to foreground before drawing the "flower".
