For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download a trial version.
Blade Pro ~ download a trial version.
Blade Pro preset ~ download here for BP & here for SBP.
Tutorial Selections ~ download here and unzip into a folder that is easy to acess.

 

Open a new image:
600 x 400 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors

File > Save as > teeter.psp
Every couple of steps be sure to hit your save button.

Add a new layer.

Selections > Load from disk... > find your unzipped folder > board-top.sel > open.

Set your foreground color to #D0AD8A.

Flood fill the selection.

Set your background color to #6E493A.

Set your background texture to Woodgrain.

 

Right click in your selection twice.

Effects > Texture Effects > Texture > these settings:

Texture Woodgrain
Size 62
Smoothness 19
Depth 9
Ambience 0
Shininess 10
Color White
Angle 45
Intensity 30
Elevation
44

Select > Select none.

Add a new layer.

Selections > Load from disk... > board-side.sel

Flood fill the selection with your foreground, then right click in your selection twice.

Effects > Texture Effects > Texture > same settings.

Select > Select none.
