For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download a trial version.
Gold Coins tube ~ download here.
(Unzip and export into your tube folder.)
Sidewalk.bmp ~ download here.
(Unzip and place in your PSP textures folder.)

Blade Pro is optional.

Open a new image:
800 x 800 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors

Turn on your rulers by going to View > Rulers.

Chose your selection tool and set at:
Circle
Feather 5
Antialias checked

Place your cursor at 400,400.  Click and drag your cursor down and out to get a circle that is almost full width of your graphic.

Flood fill this selection with a purple, I used #D69BE5.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a blue, I used #9BA2E5.

An easy way to pick your colors is by starting with your choice of purple.  Now to get the blue, open your color palette and click on the blue area of the ring.  As we change colors just click on the next color area.

This is what we should have now:

We will change colors, contact, and fill until we get back to a red/purple color.  So here we go....

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a teal/aqua, I used #9BDDE5.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a green, I used #9BE5AC.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a green/yellow, I used #D3E59B.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a yellow/orange, I used #E5DF9B.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a orange, I used #E5C39B.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a pink, I used #E5A99B.

Selections > Modify > Contract > 10 > ok.

Now fill the inside of this selection with a pink/purple, I used #E59BBC.

Now contact by 10 once again and hit your delete key.

Selections > Select none.

Select your selection tool and set at:
Rectangle
Feather 0
Antialias UNchecked

Place your cursor at 0,400 and draw across to the right and down, encompassing the bottom half of your rainbow circle.

Hit your delete key.

Selections > Select none.

Now you have a rainbow.

If you would like to save this as a tube duplicate your image by holding down the shift key and hit your D once.  On your duplicated image use your selection tool and draw a box around your rainbow.  Image > Crop to selection.  Export your tube then close the duplicate image.  We will continue to work with the original rainbow image.

Using your mover tool move the rainbow so it is coming out of the top left side.
