Now we are ready to make our pot.

Add a new layer.

Set your foreground color to null and your background to black.

Select the shape tool and set at:
Ellipse
Line width 1
Antialias & Create as vector checked

Draw an ellipse about 200 x 165 in size.

Click on the object selector and in your tool options box click on node edit.

Bring the top center node down to flatten out the top.

Move the side nodes up a bit.

Click on the right top node and then grab the little knob and move it towards the node.  This will shorten the line between that node and the center.

Do the same with the top left node, only you will grab the little arrow end.

Now you have the basic pot.

In your Tool Options box click on the grayed out node edit button and that will take you out of the editing mode.

 In the layer palette right click on that layer and "convert to raster".
