and put on this site on March 17, 2003. For this tutorial you will
need:
Open a new image: File > Save as > retrotext.psp Be sure to hit your save button on a regular basis!
Set the foreground style box to solid fill with a bright color, I am using #B93FD3. Set your background style box to solid fill with a contrasting bright color, I am using #FFEB43. Select your text Click in your image. These are the settings I used: I typed Funky. Once the text is placed grab the corner of the formation box and pull the text out to fill the image better. Objects > Align > Center in Canvas.
Grab your object Right click on the text and create raster selection. Rename this layer "1". In your layer palette right click on the vector layer and convert to raster. Selections > Modify > Contract > 3 > ok. Duplicate your original layer twice. Rename each layer - "2" and "3". Activate the 1 layer. Effects > Plug-in

Activate the 3 layer. Effects > Plug-in filters > Eye Candy 4000 > Water Drops > same settings but this time click the random seed button. Selections > Select none. File > Jasc Products > Animation Shop. In PSP, Activate the 1 layer. Edit > Copy. In Animation Shop (AS), Edit > Paste > As a new animation. In PSP, activate the 2 layer. Edit > Copy. In AS, Edit > Paste > After current frame. In PSP, activate the 3 layer. Edit > Copy. In AS, Edit > Paste > After current frame. Edit > Select all.
