For this
tutorial you will need:
PSP 7 ~ download
a trial version.
Simple Filters
~ download
here.
A tube of choice ~ a great place to find tubes is Karen's
Korner.
Open a
new image:
200 x 200 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors
Pick any
tube of your liking and apply it to the center of your
graphic. I picked a jeweled ding I made a while ago.

Effects
> Reflections Effects > Pattern > these settings:
H Offset 10
V Offset 15
Rotation Angle 86
Scale 12
Columns 3
Rows 5
H Shift 3
V Shift 4

Try
playing with the setting for a look you like with your tube.
Also be sure to click on the preview button and move the window to
see your tile. What shows in the window is not always what
you get.
Effects
> Texture Effects > Mosaic - Antique > these settings:
Columns & Rows 25
Tile Opacity 50
G Width 2
G Opacity 20

Again
play with the settings to find what you like.
Leave it
as is or apply a Simple Filter.
