Terms of Use

For this tutorial you will need:
Paint Shop Pro ~ download a trial version.

Open a new image:
25 x 25 pixels
Transparent
16.7 Million colors

View > Zoom > In by 5 steps. Repeat. If need be repeat again.
(Told you it was tiny!)

Set your foreground to black.

Activate your paint brush and set at:
Size 1
Hardness 100
Step 1
Density 100
Opacity 100

Paint the bat outline following the screenshot below:

Set your foreground to a medium gray, I am using #404040.

In each wing paint a line down starting at the peak going down.

Select your magic wand and set at:
0 Tolerance
0 Feather
Anti-alias unchecked

Click inside the empty areas of the bat.

Flood fill the selections with light gray, I am using #C0C0C0.

Selections > Float.

Effects > 3D effects > Cutout > these settings:
Horizontal & Vertical 0
Opacity 100
Blur 4
Shadow color black
Filled unchecked

Selections > Select none.

Activate your paint brush.

Set your foreground color to red, I am using #C00000.

Paint two dots on the head for eyes.

All finished!

Save your Tiny Bat in your choice of format.
